Job summary

Etihad Airways in Abu Dhabi seeks a technology product owner to manage and enhance Flight Operations and Crew Management products, maintaining a prioritized backlog and delivering initiatives through RTL deployment. You will bridge complex operational needs with IT execution and govern across multiple stakeholders.

You will translate business requirements into technical solutions, manage scope, risks, and budgets, and ensure governance and regulatory compliance while coordinating with DevOps,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/SE or related field.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in airline or aviation.
• Knowledge of Flight Operations and Crew Management systems.
• Experience in IT governance and regulatory environments.
• Understanding of cloud technologies, APIs, and modern enterprise architectures.
• Proficiency with JIRA, Confluence, Power BI, Smartsheet.
• SAFe, PMP, PRINCE2 or similar certifications preferred.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Own planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery of tech projects across Flight Operations and Crew Operations.
• Translate operational requirements into technical solutions with architects, developers, and third-party vendors.
• Manage scope, dependencies, risks, and blockers to ensure on-time delivery within budget.
• Ensure changes comply with governance, cybersecurity policies, and aviation regulations.
• Serve as liaison between DevOps, Data Engineering, Network Security and operational stakeholders.
• Prepare and present change records, release plans, and deployment readiness at CAB meetings.
• Provide updates, risk assessments, and executive status reports to leadership.
• Manage RTL deployments and environment management frameworks; support ITSM processes.
