Job summary

Collins Aerospace in Dubai seeks an experienced Aircraft Lighting Technician to inspect, repair, and test lighting components on aircraft.

You will follow CMMs, AMMs, and SRMs, document results in the MRO system, and maintain safety and tool control on the production floor. This onsite role requires 3+ years in aircraft MRO, a technical diploma, and ability to work overtime; you will collaborate with Engineering, Quality and Planning.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of relevant MRO experience.
• Able to input and retrieve information in MS Office.
• Available for overtime, including weekends.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Technical diploma/certificate in Aviation Maintenance or Electrical/Electronics.
• Experience with aircraft lighting systems preferred.
• Ability to read CMMs, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
• Knowledge of electrical/electronic troubleshooting and test equipment.
• Familiarity with Part-145 quality/safety requirements.
• Detail-oriented and able to work independently.
• Team player with ability to meet targets.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and test aircraft lighting components.
• Perform maintenance per CMMs, AMMs, SRMs, and data.
• Diagnose faults using test equipment.
• Record findings and actions in MRO system.
• Maintain safety, tool control, and calibration.
• Identify non-conformances and elevate.
• Support troubleshooting and development of new repair capabilities.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Planning and other cells.
• Support continuous improvement and productivity targets.
• Follow procedures and airworthiness requirements.
• Work on production floor with exposure to noise and solvents.
