Job summary

RTX is seeking an Onsite Support Technician for Collins Aerospace cabin interior products in the UAE. You will provide hands-on technical support, perform service bulletins, diagnose seating systems, and work closely with customers to ensure aircraft availability and safety.

Strong English communication, documentation, and travel across the region are required. The role requires 3+ years in aircraft cabin systems, AML or equivalent, and familiarity with FAA/EASA Part 145 environments.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in aircraft cabin systems maintenance, repair, or related MRO activities.
• Experience supporting aircraft seating and/or cabin interior products preferred.
• Ability to interpret CMMs, SBs, and engineering drawings and apply documentation to maintenance tasks.
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills for a customer-facing environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Experience in FAA and/or EASA Part 145 approved maintenance environments.
• Valid UAE driver's license.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on technical support for Collins Aerospace cabin interior products on customer aircraft.
• Perform Service Bulletin and Service Letter work on seating and cabin products.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair and maintain seating systems on and off-wing.
• Deliver line maintenance support and restore any inoperative seats.
• Document findings and communicate with Product Support and Engineering.
• Identify issues and opportunities for product or process improvement.
• Travel within UAE and region to support customers and provide training.
