Job summary

Airbus Africa and Middle East FZE is seeking an experienced Aircraft Technician (Systems) to inspect, maintain and repair complex aircraft systems. You will work within the IDSBCR Major Repair and Working Party in Dubai, coordinating with engineers and technicians to ensure safe, compliant operations.

The role requires deep knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, fuel and environmental systems, plus strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; relevant technical certification or diploma preferred.
• EASA Part 66 License or any other Aircraft Maintenance License is a plus
• Experience on Flight Test Aircraft across Airbus Family strongly preferred
• Proven aircraft technician with exposure to multiple systems and maintenance types
• Strong knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, fuel and environmental systems
• Ability to work under pressure with attention to detail and safety compliance

Responsibilities

• For modification embodiment or repair working party, manage cross-functional projects compliant with airworthiness regulations.
• Conduct upgrade embodiment activities on external customer aircraft.
• Perform major repairs, including complex fleet-wide tasks.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair aircraft systems (electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, etc.).
• Carry out regular maintenance checks and ensure compliance with regulations and manuals.
• Perform scheduled inspections and modifications per maintenance schedules and work orders.
• Utilize diagnostic equipment and manuals to diagnose system issues and implement solutions.
• Collaborate with technicians, engineers and maintenance staff to resolve system problems.
• Document maintenance activities accurately with parts used and hours worked.
• Stay updated with industry trends and regulatory changes affecting aircraft systems.
• Attend training to enhance knowledge and skills in systems maintenance and repair.
• Maintain safety protocols and organized work environments.
