Job summary

AVI-SPL Middle East is seeking an Installation Technician 1 to perform installation tasks on contracted projects, including cable pulls, terminations, and integration of AV systems. You will read schematics and blueprints, use hand and power tools for soldering/crimping connectors, and collaborate with Lead Technician to ensure on-time delivery within budget and safety guidelines.

The role requires basic mechanical fabrication, rack wiring, and travel to job sites.

Qualifications

Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Formal education in Electronics or related field preferred.
Good communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with customers and team.

Responsibilities

Perform installation tasks as noted in job summary and in support of Lead Technician.
Read and interpret electronic schematics and architectural blueprints.
Use hand and power tools to solder and crimp connectors along with various other AV systems installation related tasks.
Assist Lead Tech with management and security of all associated equipment and tools on jobsite.
Assist with basic mechanical fabrication and basic rack wiring.
Travel to various job sites required.
Perform additional tasks responsibilities and projects as needed to support the team and organization ensuring flexibility in adapting to evolving priorities and objectives.
