Job summary

KAVAK is seeking a commercially driven Automotive Inspector / Used Car Buyer – Closer to join our sourcing team in the UAE. This hands-on role combines inspection, valuation, negotiation and deal closing to secure quality pre-owned vehicles.

You will conduct detailed inspections, determine purchase price, meet sellers, and close purchases within approved pricing guidelines, leveraging UAE market knowledge and strong closing skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years UAE automotive experience in inspection or buying.
• Strong knowledge of used vehicle valuation.
• Proven negotiation and closing skills.
• Fluent in Arabic preferred; UAE driving licence mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed inspections covering body, paint, chassis, engine, transmission, suspension and overall vehicle condition.
• Identify accident history, repairs, mechanical issues and factors affecting vehicle value.
• Prepare inspection reports and recommend the right purchase price.
• Meet sellers, understand their expectations and negotiate offers.
• Close vehicle purchases within approved pricing guidelines.
• Maintain knowledge of UAE used-car prices, market trends and demand.
• Own the process from inspection → valuation → negotiation → purchase.

Skills and Qualifications

• 3+ years of UAE automotive experience, preferably in vehicle inspection, used-car buying, dealership or auction environments.
• Strong technical knowledge of used vehicles and valuation.
• Proven negotiation and closing skills.
• Commercially confident with the ability to buy the right car at the right price.
• UAE driving licence mandatory.
• Arabic is preferred.

The ideal candidate is not a pure salesperson or pure inspector — we need someone who can inspect the car, understand its value, negotiate confidently and close the deal.
