Job summary

tan is seeking an Automation and Instrumentation Engineer to join our team in Business Bay, Dubai. The role focuses on supporting sales with strong technical expertise in instrumentation and control systems, producing proposals, and coordinating with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.

Ideal candidates have a mechanical/electrical background, 5+ years of relevant experience, and the ability to manage multiple tasks while delivering high-quality technical solutions and excellent customer

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the automation industry.
• Strong technical knowledge of signal conditioning, Protocol Converters, Data recorders, control loop systems, and associated products.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• UAE experience and a valid UAE driver's license are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the sales team in understanding client requirements and providing technical solutions.
• Prepare detailed technical and commercial proposals, including product selection and pricing.
• Liaise with suppliers to obtain quotes, technical information and delivery timelines.
• Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support to clients.
• Coordinate with the projects and service teams to ensure timely and successful project execution.
• Maintain and update technical documentation, product catalogs, and sales records.
• Stay updated with industry trends, product developments and competitor offerings.
• Handle customer inquiries, provide product demonstrations and resolve technical issues effectively.
• Participate in client meetings, site visits and technical discussions as required.
