Job summary
ADNOC is seeking a Control System Analyst to monitor and troubleshoot plant automation, ensuring high readiness of PLC and DCS networks across deports, LPG plants, and service stations in the UAE.
The role requires a bachelor’s degree and 6 years of experience in process automation, with hands-on work on Honeywell/Emerson DCS and Siemens/Rockwell PLC systems. Expect coordination with maintenance teams and ongoing training responsibilities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in electronics, computer information systems, engineering or a closely related field.
- 6 years of experience in implementation, support and maintenance of process automation and controls in Oil & Gas sector preferable within both mid-stream and downstream.
- Experience with Honeywell and EMERSON DCS, Rockwell, B&R and Siemens PLC systems.
Responsibilities
- Maintains the availability of plant automation systems on multiple platforms (PLC, DCS) through regular checks and monitoring.
- Analyze complex systems development or modification issues and communicate actions to stakeholders.
- Develops and maintains documentation, monitoring reports, and project files for future reference.
- Coordinate and participate in maintenance of network functionality and system upgrades as required.
- Assist in training UAE nationals as part of Emiratization efforts.
