Job summary

ADNOC Group in Abu Dhabi is seeking an engineering professional specializing in automation and control systems. The role focuses on system maintenance, modernization, and project execution within a major oil and gas setting.

You will assess, design, install, commission, and support automation solutions, develop technical specifications, and contribute to bids, budgets, and safety programs in line with ADNOC standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Engineering (Electronics, Electrical, Controls or Automation).
• 4 years of experience in design, installation, commissioning, operations continuing maintenance, testing and CS validation philosophies relating to automation systems within a large industrial organization, preferably in the Oil and Gas industry.

Responsibilities

• Assess existing systems for obsolescence, spare parts availability, vendor support, interoperability and integration for safe operation.
• Audit system performance and identify opportunities for process improvements to ensure compliance with standards.
• Develop technical specifications, design & as-built documentation, user manuals; coordinate with site maintenance for vendor support and upgrades.
• Provide technical & engineering expertise to plants in Real-time Process Information and Laboratory Information Management systems.
• Support bids and technical evaluations; plan, supervise and coordinate activities to meet objectives.
• Assist in budget input and performance variance analysis; implement approved policies and procedures.
