Job summary

Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) is seeking an experienced engineer to support system maintenance across Telecommunication, Telemetry, ICS/DCS, and Real-Time Plant Information systems. The role encompasses technical specification development, feasibility studies, and documentation, with focus on safety, efficiency, and integration across platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electronics, Electrical, Controls, or Automation).
• 4 years of experience in design, installation, commissioning, operations continuing maintenance, testing and CS validation philosophies relating to automation systems within a large industrial organization, preferably in the Oil and Gas industry.

Responsibilities

• Assess existing systems (Telecommunication and Telemetry, ICS and DCS, Process Control Systems, RTPI and Laboratory MIS) for obsolescence and interoperability.
• Audit system performance and identify opportunities for process monitoring and improvements.
• Develop and update technical specifications, conduct economic feasibility studies for applications.
• Create system functional specifications, design & as-built docs, user manuals and training materials.
• Co-ordinate with site maintenance for vendor support, modifications and upgrades.
• Provide engineering expertise in Real-time Process Information Management and MES applications.
