Position Overview

Authority and Stakeholder Engineer roles in Dubai infrastructure projects focus on managing approvals, coordinating with government entities, and ensuring timely completion of NOC and authority-related requirements.

As an Authority and Stakeholder Engineer with Parsons Corporation in Dubai, UAE, you will play a key role in liaising with regulatory bodies, project stakeholders, and internal teams to support smooth project delivery and compliance with local authority standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage relationships with project stakeholders and liaise with relevant authorities, agencies, and clients to obtain required approvals and NOCs
• Attend progress and coordination meetings and provide active support throughout the NOC process
• Monitor preparation and submission of drawings and documentation required for authority approvals
• Track project progress related to NOC activities and ensure milestones are achieved on time
• Monitor project schedules to identify delays or deviations linked to approvals and stakeholder coordination
• Coordinate and collect technical information from authorities, third-party consultants, and contractors
• Prepare weekly and monthly reports related to authority coordination, approvals, and outstanding actions
• Support management and client reporting with updated design drawings and approval status
• Maintain awareness of authority standards, regulations, and procedural requirements, including experience within Sharjah authorities
• Perform additional coordination and stakeholder-related duties as required by the project

Ideal Profile

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a construction-related discipline
• Minimum 12 years of experience in authority liaison, stakeholder coordination, or NOC management roles
• Strong experience handling approval processes for infrastructure and building projects in Dubai
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with Arabic language skills considered an advantage
• Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple approval processes
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, with working knowledge of AutoCAD preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders, authorities, and multidisciplinary project teams
• Valid UAE driving license is required
