Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience as an Indian Chef in a fast-paced restaurant or hotel setting.
• Extensive knowledge of traditional Indian cuisine and ability to create authentic dishes.
• Strong leadership skills with ability to train and motivate a team.
• Excellent communication skills in English (Hindi a plus).

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and cook traditional Indian dishes according to established recipes.
• Ensure high quality and consistency of all food items prepared.
• Manage inventory and stock control, ensuring proper ordering and rotation of ingredients.
• Train and supervise kitchen staff on proper food handling techniques, hygiene standards, and recipe execution.
• Monitor kitchen operations to maintain cleanliness, safety, and efficiency.
• Collaborate with management on menu planning, cost control, and special events.
• Stay updated on current food trends and incorporate new ideas into menu offerings.
