Job summary

SBR chartered Accountants in Dubai seeks an Auditor to join our audit and tax advisory team with strong IFRS, UAE taxation, and Free Zone knowledge. You will handle client assignments independently and contribute to high-quality audits.

Responsibilities include external audits from planning to completion, VAT returns under FTA regulations, and liaising with clients and authorities to ensure compliant financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Qualified ACCA or CA (ICAP/ICAI).
• 2–4 years auditing or accounting experience (UAE preferred).
• Proficiency in QuickBooks or Zoho Books.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare IFRS-compliant financial statements and supporting audit documentation.
• Conduct external audits from planning to completion, ensuring compliance with applicable standards and laws.
• Prepare and file VAT returns in accordance with FTA regulations.
• Demonstrate a sound understanding of UAE Corporate Tax Law, Free Zone rules, and Commercial Companies Law.
• Review client accounting records, identify discrepancies, and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Liaise with clients, management, and relevant authorities in a professional manner.
• Manage multiple client assignments and meet deadlines independently.

Skills

• Professional qualification: ACCA or CA (ICAP ICAI).
