AKA Management Consultancy in Dubai, UAE is seeking a Tax Accounts Associate with strong knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax, and experience in external audit. The ideal candidate will handle tax compliance, reporting and advisory tasks.

Candidates should hold ACCA/CMA/CPA/CA and have 2-3 years UAE experience, excellent English, and be based in the UAE.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare, review and file UAE VAT returns in compliance with FTA regulations.
• Prepare Corporate Tax computations, tax returns and supporting documentation.
• Assist clients with VAT and Corporate Tax registrations, deregistrations, amendments and voluntary disclosures.
• Conduct VAT health checks and Corporate Tax compliance reviews.
• Stay updated with UAE VAT and Corporate Tax legislation and advise clients accordingly.
• Plan and execute external audit assignments in accordance with ISA.
• Prepare audit working papers, perform substantive testing and assist in completing audit engagements.
• Review financial statements for IFRS compliance.
• Liaise with clients to obtain required information and resolve tax/audit queries.
• Support FTA audits, tax assessments and client correspondence.
• Maintain accurate accounting, tax and audit documentation.
• Work closely with senior management to ensure timely completion of client engagements.

Job Summary

We are looking for a Tax Audit Associate with strong knowledge of UAE tax regulations including VAT and Corporate Tax (CT) and External Audit. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in tax compliance, reporting and advisory and hold a recognized professional certification such as ACCA, CMA, CPA or CA.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, review and file UAE VAT returns in compliance with Federal Tax Authority (FTA) regulations.
• Prepare Corporate Tax computations, tax returns and supporting documentation.
• Assist clients with VAT and Corporate Tax registrations, deregistrations, amendments and voluntary disclosures.
• Conduct VAT health checks and Corporate Tax compliance reviews.
• Stay updated with UAE VAT and Corporate Tax legislation and advise clients accordingly.
• Plan and execute external audit assignments in accordance with International Standards on Auditing (ISA).
• Prepare audit working papers, perform substantive testing and assist in completing audit engagements.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional certification (ACCA, CMA, CPA, CA) is required.
• Minimum 2-3 years of UAE experience in VAT, Corporate Tax, and External Audit.
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT Law, Corporate Tax Law, IFRS, and International Standards on Auditing (ISA).
• Experience using the FTA portal and handling tax compliance procedures.
• Experience in preparing financial statements and audit documentation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.

Must be currently based in the UAE. Immediate joiners are highly preferred.
