Job summary

Aabi Chartered Accountants in Dubai is hiring a Senior Auditor to lead fieldwork and deliver high-quality reporting for a diverse client base. You will work under the manager and partner on technical matters, ensuring compliance with IFRS and auditing standards.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years external audit experience, UAE free zone exposure is a plus, and strong English writing skills for working papers and reports.

Qualifications

• External audit experience of at least 3 years in a professional practice.
• Qualified or part-qualified ACCA/CA/CPA or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and International Standards on Auditing.
• Exposure to UAE free zone audit requirements is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Execute audit fieldwork from planning to completion under supervision.
• Prepare working papers for review and file inspections.
• Perform tests of controls and substantive procedures across revenue, receivables, payables, inventory, payroll and cash.
• Draft financial statements and IFRS disclosure checklists.
• Identify audit differences, control weaknesses and tax exposure and raise them promptly.
• Supervise and review audit associates' work.
• Manage document requests and communications with client finance teams.

Senior Auditor Job in Dubai | Aabi Chartered Accountants

Aabi Chartered Accountants is hiring a Senior Auditor for our Dubai office. You will run audit fieldwork on the ground across a varied client base of free zone and mainland companies, supported by the manager and partner on technical matters.

Key responsibilities

• Execute audit fieldwork from planning through to completion under manager supervision
• Prepare audit working papers that stand up to review and file inspection
• Perform tests of controls and substantive procedures across revenue, receivables, payables, inventory, payroll and cash
• Prepare draft financial statements and disclosure checklists under IFRS
• Identify audit differences, control weaknesses and areas of tax exposure and raise them promptly
• Supervise and review the work of audit associates on assignment
• Manage document requests and day-to-day communication with client finance teams

What we are looking for

• Part-qualified or qualified ACCA, CA, CPA or equivalent
• Minimum three years of external audit experience in a professional practice
• Solid working knowledge of IFRS and International Standards on Auditing
• Exposure to UAE free zone audit requirements is an advantage
• Ability to work across several assignments at once and meet fixed filing deadlines
• Strong written English for working paper and report preparation
• Working week: Monday to Saturday, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm
• Employment type: Full time, on site
