Jumeirah, a global luxury hospitality group, is hiring a Laundry Attendant at Madinat Jumeirah in Dubai, UAE. You will sort, inspect, and safely operate laundry equipment to ensure guest garments meet high standards.

The ideal candidate holds a high school diploma, has 1–2 years in international hospitality, and good MS Office and English language skills. A customer‑service mindset and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Intermediate MS Office skills and strong English (or local language) preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience in international hospitality recommended.

Responsibilities

The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:

• Sort and categorize guest clothing, linens, and staff uniforms, ensuring proper handling and segregation.
• Inspect garments for stains or damage and apply appropriate cleaning techniques while preserving garment quality.
• Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently, following correct washing, drying, ironing, and folding procedures.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure all laundered items meet cleanliness, presentation, and service standards.
• Monitor laundry inventory, report replenishment needs, and perform routine equipment checks, reporting any malfunctions.
• Follow health and safety procedures, maintain a clean working environment, and provide professional service when handling guest requests or concerns.

About You

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

• High School Diploma or relevant certificate required.
• Intermediate proficiency in MS Office and strong English or preferred local language skills.
• Strong customer service orientation, attention to detail, and commitment to ASPIRE competencies.
• Adaptable team player with a positive attitude, cultural awareness, and a reliable, honest, and sincere approach.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience within the international hospitality industry.
