Job summary

L&T Hydrocarbon Engineering in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced civil engineering lead to oversee and execute all civil activities for utility-scale Solar PV projects. You will ensure construction is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in line with project specifications and contractual requirements.

You will coordinate with survey, QA/QC, HSE, electrical, mechanical, and commissioning teams to ensure smooth project execution, monitor subcontractors, and verify quality

Responsibilities

• Supervise civil construction activities including site grading, earthworks, roads, drainage systems, foundations and PV mounting structure foundations
• Review IFC drawings, shop drawings, method statements and technical specifications
• Coordinate with survey, QA/QC, HSE, electrical, mechanical and commissioning teams to ensure smooth project execution
• Monitor subcontractor performance and construction progress against project schedules
• Ensure civil works comply with project specifications, local regulations and relevant international standards
• Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues related to construction activities
• Review material submittents, work inspection requests (WIRs) and quality documentation
• Verify quantities and support preparation of progress reports and client submissions
• Coordinate with consultants, clients and authorities for inspections and approvals
