Job summary

LT-Larsen & Toubro in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Civil Engineering professional to oversee and execute all civil activities for utility-scale Solar PV projects. The role ensures construction is safe, on schedule, within budget, and compliant with project specs and standards.

You will review drawings, coordinate with survey, QA/QC, HSE, electrical, mechanical, and commissioning teams, monitor progress, inspect sites, verify quantities, and support client submissions and approvals with timely

• Supervise civil construction activities including site grading, earthworks, roads, drainage systems, foundations, and PV mounting structure foundations.
• Review IFC drawings, shop drawings, method statements, and technical specifications.
• Coordinate with survey, QA/QC, HSE, electrical, mechanical, and commissioning teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Monitor subcontractor performance and construction progress against project schedules.
• Ensure civil works comply with project specifications, local regulations, and relevant international standards.
• Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues related to construction activities.
• Review material submittals, work inspection requests (WIRs), and quality documentation.
• Verify quantities and support preparation of progress reports and client submissions.
• Coordinate with consultants, clients, and authorities for inspections and approvals.
