Job summary

Rakbank in United Arab Emirates seeks an experienced Implementation Lead to own the end-to-end delivery of Corporate Online Banking, liquidity management, wallet propositions and payments for corporate clients. You will steer complex API/ERP integrations and drive successful go-lives with strong governance.

Lead client workshops, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide delivery dashboards for risk and milestones.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in transaction banking with at least 4 years in cash management implementation or client integration.
• Proven delivery of online banking, host-to-host (SFTP / API), liquidity and wallet/digital payment implementations.
• MEA/ GCC experience with UAE regulatory and compliance awareness.

What We're Looking For:

• Own the end-to-end implementation lifecycle for Corporate Online Banking, Host-to-Host (SFTP / API), Liquidity Management, Wallet propositions, Payments, Collections and Virtual Accounts for WBG and BBG clients.
• Convert mandates handed over by Cash Management Sales into live, revenue-generating solutions within agreed timelines, supporting committed cash management revenue targets.
• Implement complex client mandates and bespoke solutions, supporting product enhancement and value-added services that drive overall growth of the cash management business.
• Lead technical integration with client ERPs (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) across ISO 20022 / XML, MT file formats and SWIFT FileAct / SCORE.
• Deliver wallet and stored-value implementations covering onboarding journeys, API integration, funding, settlement and reconciliation flows.
• Ensure clients are correctly set up for billing as per approved pricing and that the first charge is applied accurately; fee ownership remains with Cash Management Sales.
• Act as single point of contact for clients, Coverage, Product, Technology, Operations and vendors through the implementation phase.
• Run client workshops, connectivity and penny testing, UAT and training ahead of go-live.
• Ensure complete, documented handover to the Customer Service Unit once solutions are live and stabilized.
• Coordinate with Technology on production issues, defects and service disruptions arising after handover to the Customer Service Unit - driving root cause analysis, timely resolution and permanent fixes.
• Provide full visibility of the implementation portfolio through MIS and dashboards covering status, ageing, bottlenecks and delivery risk, leveraging Artificial Intelligence tools and techniques for automated reporting, predictive delivery insights and exception tracking.
• Work with the Product team to identify and close product and platform gaps observed during implementations.
• Deploy AI and automation tools to improve turnaround, documentation quality, testing and resource utilization.
• Ensure all implementations comply with bank policies, product program guidelines, security standards and regulatory requirements.
• Lead, coach and develop a team of direct reports, ensuring consistent delivery standards.
• Resolves connectivity, file format, mapping and integration issues across multiple concurrent implementations.
• Translates complex client requirements into deliverable bank solutions, balancing bespoke demands against platform capability.
• Applies sound judgment in prioritizing competing client, delivery and production support demands.
• Self-starter with strong ownership and willingness to undertake self-learning.

Minimum Qualification

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Finance or a related field.
• CertICM, PMP / Agile or SWIFT / ISO 20022 certification preferred.
• Minimum 10 years in transaction banking, with at least 4 years in cash management implementation or client integration.
• Proven delivery of online banking, host-to-host (SFTP / API), liquidity and wallet / digital payment implementations for corporate clients.
• Middle East banking experience with a sound understanding of UAE regulatory and compliance requirements.
• Experience managing teams and multiple stakeholder groups.

Minimum Experience

Demonstrated use of AI and automation tools to improve delivery efficiency.
