Job summary

AECOM in Dubai is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support the PM team in planning, coordination and reporting. You will assist with documentation, scheduling and client communications, growing responsibility over time.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Engineering or Architecture is required.
• 3–5 years of project management experience.
• Strong knowledge of contract management and FIDIC contracts.
• Proficiency with project management software and Microsoft Office.
• Experience with budgeting, cost estimation and scheduling.
• Familiarity with risk assessment and mitigation strategies.
• Knowledge of UAE construction laws and regulations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Experience in building projects is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior project staff with project management tasks and documentation.
• Own small-scale projects or components under guidance of a PM.
• Support client engagement to foster relationships and communication.
• Contribute to project plans, schedules and resource allocations.
• Assist in using and maintaining project management systems and tools.
• Ensure compliance with company processes and standards.
• Participate in meetings, track actions and follow up on tasks.
• Develop project management competencies through mentorship.
