Job summary

AECOM in Dubai seeks an Associate Director of Projects Management specializing in Civil Infrastructure to lead and oversee complex projects from inception to completion. You will develop strategic PM plans, mentor a team of PMs and engineers, and ensure delivery on time and within budget.

Ideal candidates have 18+ years in civil infra with 5+ years in senior PM roles, strong PM methodologies knowledge (PMP/PRINCE2), and proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D. UAE standards familiarity is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelors in Civil Engineering; Masters in Project Management or MBA preferred.
• 18+ years in civil infrastructure with at least 5 years in senior PM role.
• Proven track record delivering large-scale infrastructure on time and within budget.
• Strong knowledge of PM methodologies (PMP/PRINCE2) and civil engineering principles.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Excellent risk management budgeting and cost control skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic project management plans for large-scale civil infrastructure initiatives
• Lead and mentor a team of project managers and engineers fostering a culture of excellence and innovation
• Oversee multiple projects simultaneously ensuring they are delivered on time within budget and to the highest quality standards
• Manage project risks develop mitigation strategies and make decisive actions to resolve issues
• Collaborate with senior leadership to align project goals with organizational objectives
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients stakeholders and regulatory bodies
• Analyze project performance metrics and implement continuous improvement strategies
• Ensure compliance with local and international standards as well as UAE construction regulations
• Drive the adoption of cutting-edge technologies and methodologies in project management and civil engineering
• Contribute to business development efforts by participating in proposal preparations and client presentations
