Own the merchandising, pricing/promo and localization strategy across all 10 D2C storefronts, in both English and Arabic. You decide what goes live and why; the Ecom Executive builds and publishes against your strategy and brief. This is a strategic, bilingual role at the center of how the brand shows up commercially across five GCC markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Set the CMS, campaign-page, offer-page and homepage merchandising strategy across all 10 storefronts (EN & AR)
- Set catalog, pricing and promotional strategy end-to-end, in both languages
- Define and own the Arabic localization standard — culturally accurate adaptation, not literal translation — and QA all Arabic-language content against it
- Brief and direct the Ecom Executive's build queue and priorities for page updates
- Monitor Arabic vs. English storefront conversion and AOV performance, and adjust strategy to close gaps
- Review Arabic social and marketing content for tone and cultural accuracy before publishing
- Partner with the Senior Ecommerce Manager on category-level pricing and the promotional calendar
- Coordinate with Performance Marketing and the CRM Senior Specialist to align offers across paid, lifecycle and on-site channels
- Brief the design agency / graphic designer on merchandising and campaign creative — banners, promo pages and storefront visuals — and review their output against brand theme before it goes live
Experience, Qualifications and Skills
- 5-7 years in e-commerce merchandising, trading or category management, ideally in a GCC/MENA D2C or retail environment
- Fluent in both Arabic and English (native or near-native Arabic strongly preferred, given ownership of the localization standard)
- Strong commercial instincts for pricing, promotions and catalog strategy in a fast-moving retail calendar
- Experience working with e-commerce CMS platforms (e.g.Magento)
- Comfortable reading storefront performance data (conversion, AOV) to guide strategy
- Strong briefing and stakeholder management skills — this role directs another team member's execution queue day to day
- High attention to detail, particularly around localization quality and cultural nuance
