Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist in design, implementation, and maintenance of IP/MPLS and telecom network infrastructure
• Support configuration and basic troubleshooting of Cisco, Nokia, and Huawei routing and switching platforms
• Participate in deployment and maintenance of service provider and enterprise networks
• Support SCADA, PLC, and industrial OT communication systems under guidance
• Assist in FAT, integration testing, and site commissioning
• Help prepare technical proposals, BOQs, and basic network designs
• Monitor networks using NMS tools and escalate issues as needed
• Support IP telephony and PABX system configurations
• Assist with time synchronization setup (NTP/GPS)
• Support fiber network activities, including basic OTDR testing and reporting
• Troubleshoot network issues and support root cause analysis
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams
• Follow network security best practices
• Maintain technical documentation, reports, and records

Job description

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Engineer – Telecom to support the design, implementation, and maintenance of telecom network infrastructure.

The candidate will assist senior engineers in network deployment, troubleshooting, documentation, and project execution across telecom and industrial communication systems.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of IP/MPLS and telecom network infrastructure

Support configuration and basic troubleshooting of Cisco, Nokia, and Huawei routing and switching platforms

Participate in deployment and maintenance of service provider and enterprise networks

Support SCADA, PLC, and industrial OT communication systems under guidance

Assist in Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), integration testing, and site commissioning

Help prepare technical proposals, BOQs, and basic network designs

Monitor networks using NMS tools and escal\late issues as needed

Support IP telephony and PABX system configurations

Assist with time synchronization setup (NTP/GPS)

Support fiber network activities, including basic OTDR testing and reporting

Troubleshoot network issues and support root cause analysis

Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams

Follow network security best practices

Maintain technical documentation, reports, and records

Requirements

Required Skills

Basic understanding of networking concepts (routing, switching, TCP/IP)

Fundamental knowledge of MPLS / service provider networks

Familiarity with Cisco / Nokia / Huawei platforms (training or academic level acceptable)

Understanding of network troubleshooting basics

Exposure to NMS tools and monitoring systems is an advantage

Basic knowledge of fiber optics and telecom infrastructure

Good communication and teamwork skills

Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications
