Pixcom Energy LLC is seeking a Telecom Design Engineer to support design, engineering and documentation of telecom infrastructure. You will prepare telecom drawings, develop fiber optic layouts, and maintain engineering documentation while coordinating with project teams to meet client specs and requirements.

The role requires AutoCAD drafting skills, fiber optic network knowledge, and strong documentation abilities.

Formación

• Bachelor's or Diploma in Telecommunications/ Electronics/ Electrical Engineering.
• Experience in telecommunications design and engineering projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD for telecom design drawings.
• Knowledge of fiber optic networks and structured cabling.
• Ability to interpret drawings, specifications and vendor documents.
• Experience with submittals, take-offs, cable schedules and as-built drawings.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and documentation skills.
• Good communication and teamwork; able to work independently.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare telecom engineering designs, layouts, and technical drawings using AutoCAD.
• Develop fiber optic network diagrams, cable routing plans, ODF layouts, and fiber core allocation diagrams.
• Prepare cable schedules, equipment lists, material take-offs, and technical documentation.
• Review engineering drawings, technical specifications, and vendor documents for accuracy and compliance.
• Update drawings based on design revisions, site feedback, and client requirements.
• Coordinate with engineering teams, project managers, clients, and site personnel to resolve technical queries.
• Provide engineering support during installation, testing, commissioning, and project handover.
• Prepare as-built drawings and maintain drawing registers and revision records.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and applicable HSE requirements.

Pixcom Energy LLC is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Telecom Design Engineer to support the design, engineering, and documentation of telecommunications infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing telecom design drawings, developing fiber optic network layouts, maintaining engineering documentation, and coordinating with project teams to ensure compliance with project specifications and client requirements.

The role requires a strong understanding of telecommunications systems, fiber optic networks, AutoCAD drafting, and technical documentation. The candidate should be capable of working collaboratively with engineering teams and supporting projects from the design stage through installation, testing, commissioning, and handover.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare telecom engineering designs, layouts, and technical drawings using AutoCAD.

Develop fiber optic network diagrams, cable routing plans, ODF layouts, and fiber core allocation diagrams.

Prepare cable schedules, equipment lists, material take-offs, and technical documentation.

Review engineering drawings, technical specifications, and vendor documents for accuracy and compliance.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or diploma in Telecommunications Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.

Relevant experience in telecommunications design and engineering projects.

Proficiency in AutoCAD for telecom design drawings and layouts.

Knowledge of fiber optic networks, structured cabling, telecom infrastructure, and cable routing.

Ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, network diagrams, and equipment documentation.

Experience in preparing technical submittals, material take-offs, cable schedules, and as-built drawings.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.

Good communication, coordination, and teamwork abilities.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
