Job summary

9E Global in Dubai seeks an Associate-Electrical to lead electrical design and project delivery for multidisciplinary schemes.

You will manage teams of engineers, coordinate with clients and architects, ensure QA, HSE and CDM compliance, drive profitable delivery, report to the Associate Director, and contribute to business development across the Middle East. This role requires strong leadership, commercial awareness, and the ability to grow the practice.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in electrical engineering / project engineering.
• Graduate Engineer in Electrical Engineering.
• Chartered Engineer is an advantage.
• Proven record as a Project Engineer on multiple projects.
• Experience in Middle East projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage portfolio of electrical design and projects with a project director.
• Lead client meetings, design reviews and coordination with architects.
• Ensure QA, HSE and CDM compliance on projects.
• Drive project delivery, profitability and stakeholder satisfaction.

Qualifications

Minimum of 12 years' experience in the relevant field.

Qualified as Graduate Engineer in Electrical Engineering.

Chartered Engineering will be an added advantage.

Have a proven record as a Project Engineer on a number of projects.

Experience in Middle East projects will be highly preferred.

Business Development

Starting to win business and develop new clients with annual targets to be agreed.

Be ambassadors for Company.

Ability to develop relationships with Client and Architects.

Ability to represent 9E at new project interviews.

Take part in marketing of practice generally.

Engineering Function

• Agree design philosophy/design fundamentals.
• Review and comment on deliverables produced by the team on a regular basis.
• Demonstrates all round technical competence.
• Have a good knowledge of concept design, buildability, detailed design, construction techniques,
• procurement routes, risk assessment and claim assessment.
• Prepare drawings, calculations & models. Review documents prepared by subordinates.
• Have a detailed knowledge of analytical concepts.
• Have a detailed knowledge of our delivery in CAD standards and 3D working.

Project Role

Responsible for managing all aspects of a portfolio of jobs as Project Manager in conjunction with a project director or Associate Director on major/complex projects could take the role of Project Engineer.

• Understand, implement and follow 9E QHSE policies.
• Implement and coordinate QHSE procedures in your workplace.
• Comply with local regulatory authority guidelines and laws pertaining to QHSE.
• Report any QHSE incidents immediately to 9E QHSE Dept. and to legal authorities if required.
• Abide Client/Contractor QHSE requirements and acquire site induction before mobilizing at sites.
