Job summary

HUMAN-AI-Z Nexus Technology is seeking an Associate Director – Facilities Manager based in the UAE. The role is strictly on-site at Global Village, Dubai, with no hybrid arrangements, and requires 6-8 years of FM experience in retail or office properties.

Candidates must be able to work with consultants, contractors, suppliers and authorities to meet service levels. The position carries a salary of AED 39,500 ALL Inclusive plus bonus, targeting effective management of FM services and compliance

Responsibilities

• Manage FM services for the entire park and ensure SLA compliance.

• Coordinate asset modification scopes, procurement and supplier evaluation.

Associate Director – Facilities Manager UAEN Only for this role Salary AED39,500 ALL Inclusive + bonus. This role is exclusively for a UAEN candidate. It is based on-site, 5 days a week and there is no hybrid working. We are looking to fill this position as soon as possible. Based in Global Village.

Applicants for the role, should have at least 6-8 years relevant experience in facility management for retail or office properties, experience in theme parks would be desirable. We are looking for a person with experience in working with Consultants and contractors, Suppliers, Government Authorities.

The role is to manage the facilities management services and operational requirements for the entire Park and maintain service level agreements through monitoring departmental and authorities’ requests to satisfy the technical service requirement of the business partners and clients. Responsibilities include:

• Providing inputs to the development of the five year Business Plan through well-managed long-term contracts and projects in order to ensure that the revenue and profitability objectives are achieved or exceeded.
• Preparing the annual FM plans to accomplish the delivery of the five year business plans for related operational services in line with the business strategy.
• Creating the FM strategy in relation to GV overall strategy.
• Supporting the business in ensuring compliance to all relevant Quality and Health Safety and Environmental (HSE) management policies, procedures, standards and controls within the Account to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high quality products/services and a responsible environmental attitude.
• Preparing scope of work and specifications documents related to asset & property modifications, maintenance management and utility services for effective procurement of suppliers in line with client requirements to ensure maximum client satisfaction.
• Evaluating the performance of facility management suppliers through the establishment of a framework of systems e.g. pre-qualification, setting SLA’s etc. in order to ensure that the relationship is fostered and developed and the appropriate level of external services are obtained to the best advantage of the company.
• Cost control and procurement activities for the department focusing on reducing waste and getting most effective supply chain and vendors management strategy.
• Effective management of each function (FM & Cleaning services) ensuring the efficient planning and allocation of all resources including budget allocations and implementation of appropriate standards and controls to ensure that all service activities meet or exceed the guest expectations, Service Level Agreements (SLA’s) and overall revenue, profitability and growth targets of each function.

There are other responsibilities included with this role.

Applicants should have a basic understanding of HV/LV Systems, HVAC Systems, plumbing, Security Systems, etc. Also knowledge of safety codes and practices. Strategic thinking coupled with efficiency in planning and execution. Facilities Management, Project Management, QHSE certification. Excellent communication, training and team building capabilities.
