Sundus seeks a Director – Facilities & Engineering Services to lead the planning, execution, and governance of facilities and capital projects in Dubai. The role ensures safe, on-time, on-budget delivery while driving operational excellence in alignment with the company’s long-term strategy.

Ideal candidate brings 10+ years of leadership in engineering/facilities, PMP certification preferred, and strong Arabic/English communication. Emiratization is encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Architecture.
• PMP or equivalent project management certification preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in engineering, facilities or capital projects.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and large-scale projects.
• Strong financial, stakeholder and vendor management capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Arabic and English.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Facilities & Engineering strategy and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Oversee the full lifecycle of capital projects, from planning and design through construction, handover, and asset optimization.
• Manage project budgets, financial performance, procurement, contracts, and risk.
• Build strong partnerships with internal stakeholders, consultants, contractors, and regulatory authorities.
• Lead and develop a high-performing engineering team while fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and collaboration.
• Monitor project and departmental performance through effective governance, reporting, and KPI management.

This strategic leadership role is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and governance of the organization's facilities, engineering, and capital projects portfolio. The successful candidate will ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while driving operational excellence and supporting the organization's long-term strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the Facilities & Engineering strategy and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
