The role covers SAP ERP activities, spare parts planning, door access controls, and maintenance reporting to keep equipment reliable and compliant.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical/Mechanical engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in maintenance coordination within a manufacturing environment.
  • Exposure to ERP SAP, including purchase requisition, work orders, and reservations.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule and oversee routine and preventive maintenance for all equipment and facilities.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and vendors to ensure timely maintenance and repairs.
  • Manage ERP SAP operations such as item code creation, PRs, reservations, and work orders.
  • Maintain spares min/max levels and inventory records.
  • Oversee door access control systems and audit documentation.
  • Prepare reports on maintenance status and budget management.
  • Ensure health and safety compliance in maintenance activities.
  • Liaise with service providers for quality, timely work.

Job description

Job Summary:

The Associate Administrator-Maintenance will be responsible for assisting in maintenance operations within the Organization. This role involves coordinating maintenance schedules, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. The Administrator will play a key role in maintaining the facility's operational efficiency and effectiveness, including the management of CCTV systems and door access controls.



Key Responsibility Areas:


  • Schedule and oversee routine and preventive maintenance tasks for all equipment and facilities.

  • Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure timely maintenance and repairs.

  • ERP , SAP operations like Item code creations, Purchase requisition creation, material reservation, Work order closing, etc.

  • Prepare and Maintain the spares Min and Max level

  • Manage the door access control systems, including issuing and deactivating access cards or codes.

  • Maintain and update all the audit documents like Preventive maintenance records, Calibration records, etc.

  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including service reports and inventory of supplies.

  • Prepare and submit regular reports on maintenance status, including any issues or concerns.

  • Liaise with service providers and contractors to ensure quality and timely completion of maintenance work

  • Evaluate vendor performance and maintain relationships for future service needs.

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations related to maintenance activities

  • Execute the required Modifications to improve the reliability of equipment.

  • Conduct regular safety inspections and audits of the facility.

  • Assist in the development and management of the maintenance budget.

  • Any other work responsibility assigned by Line Manager as and when required upon business requirement (with relevant Training)



Key Performance Indicators:


  • Timely ERP SAP entry works like Purchase requisition, Reservation, Work order closure, etc.

  • Preventive maintenance compliance percentage, Production related equipment availability

  • Spares part management and availability

  • Maintenance effectiveness, Safety compliance



Qualification:


  • Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical/ Mechanical



Work Experience:


  • Min 5 Years experience with Exposure to ERP SAP , Maintenance coordination a Manufacturing Industry



Technical Skills:


  • Strong understanding of maintenance procedures for equipment, ERP SAP, Sapres management

  • Ability to plan, execute, and oversee maintenance projects, ensuring timely completion within budget constraints.

  • Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot maintenance issues and implement effective solutions quickly.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with team members, vendors, and management.
