Job summary

Flip retail is seeking an Assistant Supervisor - MEP to coordinate daily workshop and jobsite activities under the line manager. The role covers maintenance, repairs across MEP and related trades, and ensures timely availability of parts and materials for the field.

The candidate should have 5-8 years of relevant experience and a Senior High School Diploma or equivalent certification. The position requires a male candidate and promises on-site work in Dubai, UAE.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of relevant experience in supervision for mechanical, electrical and piping (MEP) works.
• Senior High School Diploma or equivalent certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and control daily procedures of the workshop or jobsite under the line manager.
• Perform scheduled maintenance and repair works for MEP, masonry, carpentry, paint, roofing and framework solutions.
• Prepare daily allocations for the reporting team and communicate with Operations for the next day.
• Arrange parts and supplies needed for the worksite and ensure prompt delivery.
• Provide hands-on assistance for major rectification works as required.
• Track daily tickets and seek designer approval as needed.
• Send daily development recap reports to the line manager.
• Send actual daily time sheets for reporting personnel to procedures.
• Prepare cost quotes for variant works and coordinate billing with Finance.
• Be available for 24/7 standby according to task roster.

• Perform scheduled maintenance and also repair jobs of all Design Services consisting of MEP, masonry, carpentry, paint, roofing as well as framework solutions within the designated functional area.
• Prepare everyday job allocations for the reporting team as well as sent to Operations on previous day for next day's organizing.
• Arrange needed parts/ products and arrange to supply to worksite promptly.
• Provide hands-on assistance for major rectification works when called for.
• Total daily tickets as well as send to Designer's for confirmation and authorization as called for.
• Send day's development recap report to line manager.
• Send actual daily time allowance sheets of reporting personnel to procedures.
• Prepare cost quotes for variant works when needed for handyman solution as well as gather the money as well as update reports of bills/ ticket to Finance Dept.
• Go to 24/7 standby obligation according to task roster
