Job summary

Kerzner International Limited seeks an inventory and stores coordinator to maintain accurate stock levels, document all goods in the ERP system, and ensure secure, organized storerooms in our Dubai luxury hotels.

You will receive goods, check for quantity and quality, and coordinate with Cost Controller to monitor PAR levels, report discrepancies, and uphold hygiene and safety standards across all storage areas.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in stores, inventory, cost control or related finance functions.
• Demonstrated ability to manage stock levels and maintain accurate records.
• Good knowledge of hospitality inventory controls and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate stock levels and ensure goods issued to outlets are documented and recorded in ERP.
• Check received goods for quantity and condition and store in designated areas, maintaining hygiene and temperature controls.
• Monitor storeroom PAR stocks and report shortages, excesses, and discrepancies to Cost Controller.
• Ensure proper filing of stock records and supporting documents for audits and reviews.
• Ensure compliance with Fire Health, food safety, hygiene, and safety requirements; lock storerooms and secure equipment.
• Communicate effectively with Cost Controller, F&B managers, and other departments regarding stock requirements.
• Assist Cost Controller with inventory control initiatives and process improvements.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Maintain accurate stock levels and ensure all goods issued to outlets are properly documented and recorded in ERP System Ensure goods are received checked for quantity and condition and immediately stored in the appropriate designated areas Maintain proper storage standards including hygiene temperature control stock rotation PAR levels and protection from damage Monitor storeroom PAR stocks and report shortages excesses and stock discrepancies to the Cost Controller Ensure no stock is left in corridors on the floor or in areas where it may be damaged or create an obstruction Maintain clean organized and safe storerooms fridges and storage equipment including immediate cleaning of any spills Ensure all stock movements and issues are supported by the appropriate documentation and comply with established procedures Maintain proper filing of stock records and supporting documents for audit and review purposes Ensure compliance with Fire Health amp Safety food safety hygiene and departmental procedures including safe handling and storage of goods Ensure storerooms are securely locked equipment and electrical items are switched off when required and keys are properly controlled through Security Maintain effective communication with the Cost Controller F amp B managers supervisors and other departments regarding stock requirements and issues Support the Cost Controller with inventory control initiatives process improvements and other store-related activities Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the Cost Controller or Director of Finance Minimum 2 years of experience in stores, inventory, cost control or finance, preferable within a luxury hotel.Knowledge of hotel ERP/inventory systems.Good understanding of stock control, inventory procedures, issuing and storage practices.Good Excel, numerical and analytical skills with strong attention to detail.Strong organizational, task management and problem-solving skills.Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with F&B and other operational departments.Knowledge of hospitality compliance, food safety, hygiene and Health & Safety requirements is preferred.
