Job summary

Egis is seeking an Assistant Resident Engineer for its Abu Dhabi project site in the United Arab Emirates. You will support the Resident Engineer in supervising construction activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications, and maintaining quality and safety on site.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
Minimum 12 years of experience on construction/project sites.
Familiarity with UAE regulations and standards; BIM knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

Oversee construction activities on site with the Resident Engineer.
Prepare and maintain site documentation (daily reports, logs, photos).
Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors and suppliers for smooth project execution.
Analyze drawings, specifications and construction methodologies.
Enforce safety protocols and quality assurance on site.
Support scheduling, progress tracking and risk identification.
Communicate project status and concerns to stakeholders.
