Job summary

Tanqeeb in Dubai seeks a results-driven procurement professional to manage end-to-end sourcing of lighting products and project requirements. You will source fixtures, negotiate with suppliers, monitor performance, and ensure timely deliveries for complex projects.

You will collaborate with Sales, Design, Engineering and Project teams, analyze quotations, manage ERP-based processes, and help optimize inventory and costs while maintaining procurement rigor and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Support the Procurement Lead in end-to-end procurement activities for lighting products and project requirements.
• Source lighting fixtures, LED luminaires, drivers, lighting controls, and related materials from approved suppliers.
• Identify and evaluate new suppliers to improve cost efficiency, quality, and delivery performance.
• Obtain and analyze supplier quotations ensuring compliance with technical specifications.
• Assist in negotiating pricing, payment terms, lead times, and contractual agreements with local and international suppliers.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with manufacturers, distributors, and suppliers.
• Monitor vendor performance to ensure quality, delivery, and service standards.
• Resolve procurement-related issues, shortages, delays, and supplier disputes efficiently.
• Prepare procurement reports, supplier evaluations, spend analyses, and procurement forecasts.

• Support the Procurement Lead in managing end-to-end procurement activities for lighting products and project requirements.
• Source lighting fixtures, LED luminaires, drivers, lighting controls, smart lighting systems, poles, accessories, and related materials from approved suppliers.
• Identify and evaluate new suppliers to improve cost efficiency, quality, and delivery performance.
• Obtain and analyze supplier quotations, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and project requirements.
• Assist in negotiating pricing, payment terms, lead times, and contractual agreements with local and international suppliers.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with manufacturers, distributors, and suppliers.
• Monitor vendor performance to ensure compliance with quality, delivery, and service standards.

• Conduct supplier performance reviews and recommend improvement plans.

• Support inventory control initiatives to minimize excess stock and stock shortages.
• Coordinate replenishment activities and improve inventory turnover.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings through strategic sourcing and supplier negotiations.
• Assist in monitoring procurement budgets and project material costs.
• Prepare procurement reports, supplier evaluations, spend analyses, and procurement forecasts.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Proficiency in ERP systems, procurement software, and Microsoft Office applications.
