Job summary

Al Ghurair is seeking a Diploma-qualified Printing Technician to join our Dubai print operations. The role involves setting up sheetfed presses, selecting the correct plates and ink, and assisting with basic calibration under supervision.

You will prepare materials, verify specs against job orders, and ensure safe storage of unused supplies while supporting ongoing production and maintenance tasks.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Printing Technology required.
• Experience with sheetfed printing is preferred.
• Understanding of printing processes and quality checks.

Responsibilities

• Machine Setup: prepare sheetfed printing machines per job specs and verify plates, paper size, and ink type.
• Material Preparation: gather and stage required materials and confirm specs against orders.
• Maintenance & Production Support: assist with preventive maintenance and monitor press cleanliness.

• Machine Setup Prepare sheetfed printing machines based on job specifications, verify plates, paper size, and ink type, and assist with basic calibration under supervision.
• Material Preparation Collect and stage required paper, ink, and plates; confirm specs against job orders; and handle storage of unused materials safely.
• Maintenance & Production Support Assist with preventive maintenance tasks, monitor press cleanliness, feed paper during runs, and check for misprints or alignment issues
