Job summary

Durucooperation in Dubai is seeking an Assistant Printer to support the operation and setup of printing machines, ensuring smooth production flow and adherence to quality standards. The role assists in machine preparation, material handling, quality checks, and basic maintenance while supporting the Printer/Operator to achieve accurate, efficient print production.

You will participate in calibration, color alignment, material preparation, and routine cleaning, reporting issues to the supervisor.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of sheetfed printing processes and machine operations.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Willingness to work in shifts when required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setting up printing machines according to job specifications.
• Support machine calibration, registration, and color alignment under the guidance of the Printer/Operator.
• Prepare and organize printing materials, including paper, ink, printing plates, and consumables.
• Verify material specifications before production to ensure job accuracy.
• Feed paper into the printing machine and monitor uninterrupted production flow.
• Assist in monitoring print quality and identify printing defects or inconsistencies.
• Perform visual inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Support routine cleaning and preventive maintenance of printing equipment.
• Coordinate with production and pre-press teams to ensure timely job completion.
• Maintain proper housekeeping and follow workplace safety procedures.
• Record production details and report machine issues or abnormalities to the supervisor.
• Ensure compliance with company quality standards and operational procedures.
