Job summary

Al Ghurair is seeking a skilled press operator to ensure print quality across runs. You will monitor ink density, registration, and paper feed accuracy to maintain consistency from first sheet to last.

Additionally, you will perform scheduled maintenance, document activities, and elevate abnormalities to the technical team. You will balance ink and water to prevent color shifts, ensuring sharp prints with consistent fidelity throughout production.

Responsibilities

• Maintain print consistency across the run by monitoring ink density, registration and paper feed accuracy.
• Perform scheduled maintenance including roller cleaning, blanket replacement, lubrication, and inspection of mechanical components; document all activities and escalate abnormalities to the technical team.
• Control ink-water balance during production by tuning dampening systems to prevent scumming, toning, or emulsification and ensure sharp prints with consistent color fidelity.

Maintain Print Consistency Throughout the Run
Monitor ink density, registration, and paper feed accuracy across the entire batch. Adjust machine settings proactively to prevent color shifts, misalignment, or print defects. Ensure uniformity from first sheet to last.Perform Scheduled Maintenance as per Guidelines
