Sharjah Islamic Bank invites applications for the role of Assistant Manager – Quality Assurance and Reporting. You will support the Senior Manager to ensure compliance functions align with policies and drive a strong QA culture across AML, KYC, and CFT subjects.

The position focuses on developing a group-wide monitoring plan, conducting reviews, and consolidating periodic reports for senior management and the Board Risk Committee. Acomprehensive training program is included.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Financial & Banking Science, Financial Management.
• Minimum 7 years banking experience with at least 2 in QA/compliance roles.
• MS Office expertise (Advanced).

Responsabilités

• Develop, implement and maintain group-wide annual Compliance Assurance and Monitoring Plan aligned with risk assessments and regulatory priorities.
• Ensure execution of compliance reviews and control testing per plan, providing independent assurance on compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Establish and maintain a comprehensive compliance assurance observation tracker, with timely follow-up, escalation and resolution of gaps.
• Prepare a Compliance training yearly plan covering AML, KYC, CFT and related subjects.
• Address open audit and CBUAE observations pertaining to QA and conclude identified issues timely.
• Coordinate and consolidate compliance periodic reports to Senior Management and Board Risk Committee.
• Keep informed about improvements and update subordinates to raise overall compliance quality.
