Role Summary

The Assistant Manager Operations Waterpark position at Atlantis Resorts Dubai is responsible for supporting park operations, developing teams, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and maintaining exceptional guest experiences across Aquaventure facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the Manager Operations to deliver a superior waterpark guest experience
• Support recruitment, training, and development of team leaders and lifeguard teams
• Provide leadership and motivation to ensure safe and high-quality service delivery
• Oversee day-to-day management of waterpark operations, pools, and beaches
• Ensure facilities are maintained to the highest quality and safety standards
• Monitor service levels and anticipate guest needs to enhance satisfaction
• Partner with Resort Recreation teams for cabanas, guest services huts, buggies, and leisure activities
• Conduct daily inspections of waterpark, pools, and beaches before guest use
• Ensure full compliance with third‑party and local governing standards
• Manage performance, discipline, and colleague engagement initiatives
• Maintain open communication with all departments supporting Aquaventure operations

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum high school education or equivalent
• Ellis and Associates Instructor experience or equivalent training experience preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Solid administrative abilities with a strong customer-focused approach
• Ability to manage teams, priorities, and operational tasks in a fast-paced environment
