Job summary

GMG is seeking a senior Business Development professional to drive growth of the BD portfolio and expand GMG's retail footprint in the UAE. You will identify partnerships, analyze markets, and guide strategic decisions to boost profitability and market share.

With 10 years in retail or BD and 3 years in leadership, you will build key supplier and customer relationships, coordinate with finance and operations, and ensure compliant expansion across stores and regions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
• 10 years in retail or business development with 3 years in a leadership role.
• Professional certifications in business development or retail management preferred.

Responsibilities

The incumbent in the role at GMG will be responsible for driving the growth and expansion of BD Portfolio. The role involves identifying new business opportunities, building strong partnerships to increase market share and profitability.

The incumbent will:

• Execute business development strategies aimed at growing SuperCare's retail presence and profitability.


• Identify new business opportunities, including potential partnerships and product/service diversification.


• Analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor performance to inform strategic decision-making.


• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, partners, and customers, to drive business growth.


• Collaborate with internal teams, including finance, and retail operations, to ensure alignment and successful implementation of business development plans.


• Monitor and assess the performance of assigned stores / areas, making adjustments as necessary to achieve desired results.


• Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and industry regulations during business expansion efforts.


• Strong strategic thinking and decision-making skills.
