Requires 3–5 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree; duties include supervising claims processes, settlements, reporting, and ensuring customer satisfaction in the Dubai & NE region.

Job Description The job holder is responsible to Plan, implement and supervise a team of Supervisors and Claims Officers towards a smooth, efficient and effective operation thus ensuring the delivery of superior claims handling services to customers on a timely manner and minimizing the overall claims/costs while ensuring that The Organization's image and its interests are well protected, maintained and elevated.

Responsibilities STRATEGIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide professional support to Manager (Commercial lines Claims, Dubai) in the day to day handling of Claims and assist in the development of the long term strategies and objectives for Commercial claims in line with overall claim functions' business goals, enabling the company to meet growth and profitability targets. Assist the Manager - Commercial lines Claims, Dubai in implementing the Department Strategies that will realise The Organization's goals and targets.

OPERATIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Follows all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
• Claims Activities:Under the guidance of the Manager (Commercial Lines), supervise overall claims management operations commercial claims ensuring benchmarks are met regarding execution of the different steps in the value chain for claims management proactively reducing cycle time, ensuring provision of prompt services to The Organization's clients and thus supporting achievement of Company's business goals.
• Supervise the Claims Team based on the underlying KPIs for productivity and quality of claims ensuring that proper settlements are made within terms & conditions of relevant policies of insurance and that ex-gratia settlements are approved by the relevant authority as per Authority Matrix while giving due consideration to all Legal aspects of claims and recovery while ensuring application of the Company's claims philosophy, set standards of service and effective implementation of action plan.
• Supervise the Settlement /approval claims as per prescribed/designated financial authorities; ensure approved reserves are established/maintained for reported claims as per agreed procedures and review of claims is taken up periodically.
• Seek guidance from Manager on appointment of loss adjusters from time to time and deal/discuss with them matters of importance.
• Supervise and ensure that all Department relevant cash calls from reinsures are duly followed and funds are received in time.
• Supervise sale of salvage and third party recoveries.
• Customer Satisfaction:Ensures to meet the customer service standards and address all claim related queries and increase the customer satisfaction.
• Rejection of Claims:Claims that are invalid to be referred to Manager- Commercial claims. Marks suspicious claims for audit and performs investigation. Participates and contributes in the discussion for finding the best possible solutions.
• Reports:Provides Management with appropriate reports regarding the unit and compliance with operational policy and procedures.

Experience This role requires at least 3 to 5 years of relevant experience.

Qualification Bachelor's Degree in relevant field.
