ASSISTANT GENERAL MANAGER – HOSPITALITY | DUBAI

We are confidentially seeking an experienced and dynamic Assistant General Manager to join the leadership team of a premium F&B operation in Dubai.

This is a key operational leadership position for a hands-on hospitality and F&B professional who can support the senior management in driving service excellence, team performance, operational standards, guest satisfaction, and commercial results.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the senior management in overseeing day-to-day restaurant operations and ensuring consistently high standards of service.
• Lead, motivate, coach, and develop the front-of-house team while fostering a professional and performance-driven culture.
• Maintain a strong presence on the floor and ensure an exceptional guest experience throughout service.
• Monitor operational performance, productivity, staffing levels, and cost controls.
• Work closely with Culinary and other support functions to ensure seamless daily operations.
• Handle guest feedback and operational challenges effectively and professionally.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, training, performance management, and succession planning within the operations team.
• Ensure compliance with company standards, policies, health & safety requirements, and local regulations.
• Assist in driving revenue opportunities while maintaining appropriate control of operational costs.
• Deputize for the senior management when required.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience as an Assistant General Manager, Restaurant Manager, or similar senior operational leadership role within premium, luxury, or high-volume hospitality.
• Strong understanding of restaurant operations, guest experience, team management, and commercial performance.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop multicultural teams in a fast-moving hospitality environment.
• Strong knowledge of operational KPIs, labor productivity, cost control, and revenue management.
• Excellent communication, leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Highly hands-on, organized, commercially aware, and comfortable taking ownership.
• Previous experience within the UAE or GCC hospitality market is highly preferred.
• Flexibility to work according to operational requirements.
