Job summary

Wynn Al Marjan Island is seeking an Assistant Facilities Manager - Wynn Oasis to lead a team of building technicians in a large-scale resort environment. You will supervise civil, mechanical, and basic electrical maintenance, develop preventive maintenance plans, and coordinate with multiple departments to ensure seamless facility operations.

The role requires a technical diploma or certification and at least 5 years of supervisory experience in building maintenance, with experience in CMMS like

Qualifications

• Technical diploma or certification in building maintenance, civil engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in building maintenance within large-scale residential or staff housing environments.
• Strong knowledge of civil finishes, basic MEP systems, and maintenance best practices.
• Proficient in reading technical drawings, riser diagrams, and layout plans.
• Familiarity with CMMS platforms (e.g., Maximo) and digital reporting tools.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support building technicians in performing civil, structural, mechanical, and basic electrical maintenance tasks.
• Conduct inspections and audits of building infrastructure including plumbing fixtures, doors, windows, tiles, ceilings, lighting systems, and HVAC support components.
• Develop and manage PPM schedules for all building-related assets and systems.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, service reports, and compliance documentation.
• Ensure all tasks are logged in the CMMS (Maximo or equivalent) and updated regularly.
• Lead and manage a team of building technicians, assigning tasks and monitoring performance.
• Prepare and manage technician rosters to ensure full coverage across all shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• conduct regular training sessions and toolbox talks to enhance technical skills and safety awareness.
• Liaise with Housekeeping, Front Office, HVAC, Electrical, ELV, and Horticulture teams to ensure seamless upkeep of the facility.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors for outsourced services such as façade cleaning, waterproofing, pest control, and rigging inspections.
• Support cross-functional initiatives and respond to operational priorities as directed by the Manager – Engineering & Facilities.
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with UAE building codes, safety regulations, and internal SOPs.
• Participate in safety audits, inspections, and emergency response planning.
• Respond promptly and professionally to maintenance requests, complaints, and emergency breakdowns, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to residents.

About The Position

Wynn Al Marjan Island is currently seeking an Assistant Facilities Manager - Wynn Oasis to join the resort’s Facilities - Wynn Oasis team.
