Job summary

Wynn Al Marjan Island seeks an Assistant Facilities Manager - Wynn Oasis to lead the Facilities - Wynn Oasis team in maintaining large-scale residential facilities.

The role requires supervising technicians, coordinating with multiple departments, and ensuring maintenance is performed to high standards while adhering to safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Technical diploma or certification in building maintenance, civil engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in building maintenance within large-scale residential or staff housing environments.
• Strong knowledge of civil finishes, basic MEP systems, and maintenance best practices.
• Proficient in reading technical drawings, riser diagrams, and layout plans.
• Familiarity with CMMS platforms (e.g., Maximo) and digital reporting tools.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support building technicians in civil, structural, mechanical, and basic electrical maintenance tasks.
• Conduct inspections and audits of building infrastructure and systems.
• Develop and manage PPM schedules for all building-related assets and systems.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities, service reports, and compliance documents.
• Ensure tasks are logged in the CMMS and updated regularly.
• Lead and manage a team of building technicians and rosters across shifts.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping, Front Office, HVAC, Electrical, ELV, and Horticulture teams for upkeep.
• Liaise with contractors and vendors for outsourced services.
• Support cross-functional initiatives and respond to operational priorities as directed by the Manager – Engineering & Facilities.
• Ensure compliance with UAE codes, safety regulations, and SOPs.
• Participate in safety audits, inspections, and emergency planning.

About the Position:

Wynn Al Marjan Island is currently seeking an Assistant Facilities Manager - Wynn Oasis to join the resort’s Facilities - Wynn Oasisteam.

The primary duties and responsibilities of this role are:

• Supervise and support building technicians in performing civil, structural, mechanical, and basic electrical maintenance tasks.
• Conduct inspections and audits of building infrastructure including plumbing fixtures, doors, windows, tiles, ceilings, lighting systems, and HVAC support components.
• Develop and manage PPM schedules for all building-related assets and systems.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, service reports, and compliance documentation.
• Ensure all tasks are logged in the CMMS (Maximo or equivalent) and updated regularly.
• Lead and manage a team of building technicians, assigning tasks and monitoring performance.
• Prepare and manage technician rosters to ensure full coverage across all shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Conduct regular training sessions and toolbox talks to enhance technical skills and safety awareness.
• Liaise with Housekeeping, Front Office, HVAC, Electrical, ELV, and Horticulture teams to ensure seamless upkeep of the facility.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors for outsourced services such as façade cleaning, waterproofing, pest control, and rigging inspections.
• Support cross-functional initiatives and respond to operational priorities as directed by the Manager – Engineering & Facilities.
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with UAE building codes, safety regulations, and internal SOPs.
• Participate in safety audits, inspections, and emergency response planning.
• Respond promptly and professionally to maintenance requests, complaints, and emergency breakdowns, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to residents.

About You:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
