Wynn Al Marjan Island is seeking an Assistant Director to join the Contract Services Team. The role oversees the end-to-end contract lifecycle, from drafting to close-out, ensuring compliance with policies, regulatory requirements, and governance across departments in a luxury hospitality development.

The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 5–7 years of contract management experience in hospitality, gaming, construction, real estate, or large-scale projects.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years in contract management, procurement or related field.
• Hospitality, gaming, construction, real estate or large-scale development experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of contract law, governance and administration best practices.
• Experience drafting, reviewing, negotiating and administering complex commercial agreements.

About Wynn Al Marjan Island

Wynn Al Marjan Island will be the first integrated resort in the UAE. Set to open in 2027, the resort will be located 50 miles from Dubai International Airport in the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah. The resort will offer 1,530 rooms and suites, 22 restaurants, lounges, and bars, a theater, and a beach club. It will feature multiple swimming and wading pools, a five-star spa, a salon, a shopping promenade, and a celebrations and events center.

About The Position

Wynn Al Marjan Island is currently seeking a Assistant Director to join our Contract Services Team.

Responsibilities

The primary duties and responsibilities of this role are: Assist in the development and implementation of contract management policies, procedures, and best practices. Oversee the end-to-end contract lifecycle, including drafting, review, negotiation, execution, amendments, renewals, and close-out activities. Ensure contracts comply with company policies, regulatory requirements, approved procurement standards, and internal governance procedures. Collaborate with Legal, Procurement, Finance, Development, IT, Gaming, Hotel Operations, and other departments to support contract requirements. Review contractual terms and conditions to identify, assess, and mitigate commercial and contractual risks. Maintain oversight of contract obligations, deliverables, key milestones, expiry dates, renewals, and compliance requirements. Monitor supplier and contractor performance against contractual commitments, service-level agreements, and agreed deliverables. Develop and maintain a centralized contract repository, ensuring records are accurate, complete, current, and easily accessible. Prepare reports and dashboards on contract status, renewals, compliance metrics, supplier performance, and risk exposure. Support negotiations with vendors, consultants, contractors, and service providers to achieve favorable commercial outcomes. Assist in the resolution of contract disputes, claims, variations, and commercial issues in coordination with relevant stakeholders. Identify opportunities to improve contract administration processes, controls, documentation, and overall operational efficiency. Mentor and support Contract Services team members, providing guidance and professional development opportunities. Ensure strict confidentiality of all contractual, commercial, supplier, and company information. Participate in departmental and inter-departmental meetings, providing advice and recommendations on contract-related matters. Promote a positive, collaborative, and multicultural work environment.

About You

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, Finance, Supply Chain Management, Construction Management, or a related discipline. Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in contract management, procurement, commercial management, or a related field. Experience within hospitality, gaming, construction, real estate, or large-scale development environments is preferred. Strong understanding of contract law, commercial terms and conditions, contract governance, and administration best practices. Experience in drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and administering complex commercial agreements. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and contract management systems. Strong analytical, organizational, negotiation, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Self-motivated, adaptable, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
