Key Responsibilities
- Review and analyze customer credit applications, financial statements, credit reports, and payment history.
- Assist in determining suitable credit limits and terms based on detailed risk assessments.
- Monitor credit performance and eliminate anomalies or emerging risks.
- Support new customer account setup and credit approval processes.
- Review AR aging reports and follow up on overdue accounts.
- Coordinate with customers to resolve billing discrepancies and payment delays.
- Recommend appropriate actions on high‑risk accounts including holds, collections, or negotiations.
- Contribute toward monthly cash collection targets.
- Identify credit risks and propose proactive mitigation strategies.
- Maintain accurate credit files, documentation, and periodic credit limit reviews.
- Prepare regular credit exposure reports, overdue summaries, and collection status updates.
- Assist in developing and implementing updated credit policies and procedures.
- Support audits by providing necessary credit documents and reconciliations.
- Work closely with Sales, Finance, and Operations to support order processing and resolve disputes efficiently.
