Job summary

Noor Safety Consultants LLC in Abu Dhabi is seeking a detail-oriented Assistant Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will maintain accurate financial records, support daily accounting operations, and assist with invoicing, VAT documentation, and closings.

We require a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and 1–2 years of related experience. Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with accounting software are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance is required.
• 1–2 years of experience in an assistant accounting role.
• Understanding of basic accounting principles and procedures.
• Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office essential.
• Experience with VAT documentation is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate accounting records and financial transactions.
• Prepare invoices, receipts, payments and journal entries.
• Reconcile bank statements and supplier/customer accounts.
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Prepare payment vouchers and support monthly payroll processing.
• Maintain petty cash records and expense reports.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.
• Support VAT documentation and financial reporting.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external vendors.
• Ensure accounting records are accurate and properly maintained.
• Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.
