Job summary

Jado Telecom FZCO in the United Arab Emirates seeks a hands-on junior accountant to support day-to-day financial operations, including AP/AR, invoicing, VAT documentation, and month-end processes. You will work with ERP accounting software, ensure accurate records, and assist auditors as needed.

Job description

1. Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and accounting entries.

2. Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.

3. Prepare and record invoices, payments, receipts, and journal entries.

4. Reconcile bank statements and company accounts on a regular basis.

5. Monitor customer and supplier balances and follow up on outstanding payments.

6. Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

7. Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial records.

8. Support inventory reconciliation and stock-related accounting activities.

9. Assist with VAT documentation, reporting, and compliance requirements.

10. Prepare expense reports and verify supporting documents.

11. Coordinate with auditors and provide required financial information when needed.

12. Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures.

Desired Candidate Profile
