Job summary

First Abu Dhabi Bank invites applications for the Specialist, Asset Servicing role. You will be a key player in the Securities Service Operations team, delivering custody services and managing client relationships with a focus on compliance and efficiency.

Qualifications

• University Graduate / bachelor's degree (or 5 years related work experience)
• 5+ years related experience in security services and/or back-office operations such as corporate actions / securities settlements
• Solid understanding of security services and operations and accounting activity related to security services
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks
• Team oriented with good communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience in Securities related functions (Client Services, Corporate Actions, Settlement, Data Maintenance & Billing or Custody Account Opening) is an added advantage

Responsibilities

• End-to-end corporate actions processing in line with regulatory requirements
• Daily monitoring and processing of corporate actions across domestic, regional, and international markets
• Reconciliation of client positions with sub-custodians and markets
• Communicate with Markets, Sub Custodians, Agents, Companies, Depositories, Brokers and Issuers to ensure timely processing
• Maintain knowledge of corporate actions Swift messages and usages
• Track KPIs/KRIs and ensure controls and risk parameters are met
• Support tax reclaim and proxy services as part of Asset Servicing
• Review and improve processes to enhance client satisfaction and reduce costs
