Job summary

GMG in Dubai seeks a Loss Prevention Specialist to help reduce loss, minimize risk, and ensure adherence to SOPs and policies. The role centers on investigations, incident reporting, and compliance across a large retail operation.

The position involves planning compliance reviews, handling audit findings, and coordinating with legal authorities, inventory, and cross-functional teams to drive prevention and efficiency improvements.

Qualifications

• Excellent investigative skills and data analysis abilities.
• Knowledge of risk assessment and mitigation strategies.
• Ability to prepare and present detailed reports and recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Plans and executes scheduled store compliance reviews for each financial year.
• Communicates audit findings and discusses them with the line manager.
• Assists in categorizing stores by their risk status.
• Maintains a database of recoveries linked to investigations.
• Executes major investigations, gathers evidence, interviews witnesses and submits final reports.
• Completes spot checks (cash/safe/locker) per company policies.
• Conducts in-store training to raise awareness on loss and risk prevention.
• Verifies incidents are reported timely and supports loss prevention events.
• Collaborates with inventory on stock-take results and follow-up investigations.
• Manages revenue enhancement projects and cost-saving opportunities.
