MediaSource FZC seeks an Asset Data & Reliability Engineering Specialist to oversee data integrity across airport facilities, including as-built drawings, GIS, and enterprise asset management systems like Maximo.
You will coordinate between Operations and Data Analytics, maintain base plans, validate engineering data, and support dashboards for performance insights used in asset management and lifecycle decisions.
The Asset Data & Reliability Engineering Specialist is responsible for the integrity, coordination, and governance of data across all airports, including as-built drawings, GIS platforms, and enterprise asset management systems. The role ensures physical asset information and spatial data are accurately aligned within Maximo, supporting asset registers, data quality, and trend analytics. Working between Operations and Data Analytics teams, the specialist maintains base plans, validates engineering data, and supports performance dashboards and insights for operational, risk, and lifecycle decision-making.
Maintain and update GIS and base-plan data to accurately reflect as-built conditions across all airport facilities.
Act as the central point for receipt, validation, and coordination of as-built arising from projects, fit-outs, minor works, and change activities, working closer with CP&C.
Ensure as-built drawings, spatial data, and asset information are consistently aligned within Maximo and associated digital platforms GIS utilities application.
Support the configuration and maintenance of asset registers, asset mapping, and FM-related data within Maximo.
Work with Operations, Projects, and Analytics teams to ensure effective graphical and data interfaces between systems, including CMMS, GIS, BMS, SCADA, and other building technologies.
Support and maintain standardized workflows and systems for the storage, governance, and retrieval of engineering, asset, and as-built information within the centralized technical library.
Contribute to data governance activities by supporting consistent terminology, data structures, and quality checks for engineering and asset data.
Support with asset performance and criticality assessments
Analyse failure history and asset performance data to identify reliability risks
Monitor reliability KPIs such as MTBF, MTTR, and asset availability
Support root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring asset failures.
Support data quality assurance by validating engineering, asset, and spatial data used for reporting, dashboards, and trend analysis.
Assist in the preparation and maintenance of performance dashboards and reports, supporting trend identification and insight generation for FM operations.
Provide systems access support and guidance to Asset Facilities Management teams to enable effective use of GIS application, and related data required to fulfil operational roles.
Support AFM teams in developing practical solutions using as-built drawings, GIS, and asset data to improve operational planning and decision-making.
Maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support coordinated data, engineering, and project delivery.
Work collaboratively across the Facilities Management team and promote best-practice, value-assured approaches to asset and data management.
Any other duties that may be assigned by the reporting Senior Data Intelligence Manager.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree (minimum) – Engineering, Construction, or similar.
Experience: >5 years’ experience in projects / building data / construction related roles, preferably in an airport environment or other large-scale Infrastructure.
Power BI Data Analytics preferred.
Autodesk AutoCAD competent
Experience with As-built drawings and integrated data
GIS Application and browser applications
Power BI Dashboard Analytics familiarity
Documentation QA/QC
Excel commands for large data
Ability to work in AutoCAD for any base change-related activities, including working with schematics or as-built information, as well as version control and indexing for any updated projects.
Ability to maintain the GIS interface, related asset meta-data and underground utilities, linking with the CMMS platform for coordination.
