Job Overview
Asset Management Consultant – Infrastructure in Dubai is a Civil Engineering consulting opportunity for an experienced professional who can deliver strategic and technical asset management advisory services across infrastructure, mobility, buildings, and critical asset portfolios. This role is ideal for a consultant with strong ISO55001 knowledge, lifecycle asset planning experience, digital asset information expertise, and the ability to help regional clients improve asset performance, risk management, resilience and long‑term value.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver asset management consultancy and engineering advisory services for clients across the MEA region.
- Help clients improve the performance, resilience, risk profile, and lifecycle value of their asset portfolios.
- Support the identification and development of new business opportunities linked to asset management and infrastructure advisory.
- Contribute to the scoping, planning, analysis, delivery, and documentation of asset and operations management projects.
- Lead or support defined workstreams, client discussions, workshops, and technical deliverables.
- Develop asset management policies, procedures, standards, lifecycle strategies, and implementation guidance.
- Support asset inventory definition, asset data analysis, asset reporting, and outreach materials for project delivery.
- Build asset management frameworks and improvement roadmaps aligned with ISO55001 principles.
- Define asset performance metrics, service levels, asset criticality approaches, and operational performance indicators.
- Support the design of asset information models, data models, asset hierarchies, and reporting structures.
- Analyze whole-of-life asset risk, capital expenditure, operational expenditure, and lifecycle investment needs.
- Recommend optimized asset management strategies, medium‑term capital investment plans, and operational plans.
- Interpret engineering drawings, system architecture drawings, asset interfaces, and technical documentation for asset register and lifecycle planning purposes.
- Use asset‑related dashboards and data visualization tools to support decision‑making, performance monitoring, and risk profiling.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, stakeholders, and project leaders to deliver accurate and practical advisory outputs.
- Travel within the MEA region as required for project delivery, workshops, and client engagement.
Ideal Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in a related engineering field is required.
- More than 5 years of successful experience in asset management, business consulting, infrastructure advisory, or technology‑driven consulting.
- Working knowledge and practical experience implementing asset management services in line with industry best practice and ISO55001.
- Strong expertise in asset management, especially digital asset information and asset management applications.
- Experience within critical infrastructure, mobility, or building markets is required.
- Established knowledge of asset management activities, lifecycle planning, asset data, and performance improvement.
- Excellent project management and communication skills.
- Proven ability to support multiple projects and manage competing priorities.
- Ability to operate confidently in a fast‑paced consultancy environment.
- Strong written and spoken English communication skills at a professional level.
- Experience using PowerBI or similar tools for dashboards, visualization, asset performance monitoring, and risk reporting will be an advantage.
- Ability to read and understand engineering and system architecture drawings.
- Arabic language skills will be a strong advantage for client and stakeholder engagement across the MEA region.
- Based in Dubai with flexibility to travel within the MEA region for project‑related activities.
